Pumpkin Spice Popcorn With Chocolate Drizzle

Ingredients

10 cups popcorn

1/4 cup butter

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup light corn syrup

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions

1. Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.

2. Pop the popcorn and place it in a large bowl, removing any unpopped kernels.

3. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the brown sugar, corn syrup, and salt. Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring constantly. Once it reaches a boil, let it cook for 4-5 minutes without stirring.

4. Remove the saucepan from the heat and quickly stir in the baking soda and pumpkin pie spice. The mixture will become frothy.

5. Pour the caramel mixture over the popcorn and toss until all of the popcorn is coated.

6. Spread the popcorn onto the prepared baking sheet and place it in the oven for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.

7. Once the popcorn is done baking, remove it from the oven and let it cool on the baking sheet.

8. While the popcorn is cooling, melt the chocolate chips in the microwave or using a double boiler.

9. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the cooled pumpkin spice popcorn.

10. Allow the chocolate to set before serving, then enjoy your delicious pumpkin spice popcorn with chocolate drizzle!
